One thing you must know: you won’t see the results until a few washes.

As you switch from a silicone-based shampoo to one with natural ingredients, your hair might take a couple of days to a few weeks to reap the benefits.

So what to expect?

Nothing too different: just your natural hair texture minus the silicone coating, and a less foamy lather as all SoulTree shampoos are SLS/SLES-free.

CONVENTIONAL SHAMPOOS DO MORE HARM THAN GOOD

Regular shampoos are like detergents that strip your hair off natural oils, making them dry and unruly. To make up for this, silicones are added to coat your hair and create an illusion of soft, freshly rinsed hair.

This starts a vicious cycle: your scalp produces more oil to compensate for the dryness, making your hair feel heavy more quickly.

Organic shampoos, on the other hand, take care of your hair from root to tip, with ingredients that improve your scalp health and strengthen your hair.

USING SOULTREE SHAMPOOS RIGHT

Our tips for best results

Natural shampoos work significantly different to conventional ones, and here’s how to see quick results when you use them:

1.Drench your hair in water: Make sure your hair is fully wet before shampoo application

2.Use a small amount of Natural Shampoo: Use three-quarters what you would usually go for.

Alternate way of using natural shampoo - make a solution of shampoo in water and apply it evenly through the hair.

3. Use water to lather: It helps activate the shampoo for even application

The problem with using a natural shampoo is often in the water, not the shampoo. Synthetic surfactants in conventional shampoos react less to the minerals in hard water. With natural shampoo, try using softened water to rinse your hair.

4. Rinse thoroughly: Rinse Well. Any residue from the SLS/SLES-free shampoo will make your hair feel heavy.

5.Follow up with a Natural Conditioner: Finger comb the conditioner through from mid-lengths to ends and rinse.

    Hola,

    Hello,
I have read the below as the ingredients on SOutree Shampoo.

Aqua, Coco glucoside, Glycerin, Sodium PCA, Glyceryloleate, Emblicaofficinalis (Aamla) fruit*, Terminaliachebulica (Bibhitaki) fruit*, TerminaliaBelerica (Haritaki) fruit*, Hydrolysed Wheat protein, Sidacordifolia (Bala) root*, Lawsoniainermis (Henna) leaves*, Acacia concinna (Shikakai) fruit*, Glycyrrhizaglabra (Licorice) root*, Sodium benzoate, Potassium sorbate, Parfum**, Xanthan gum, Meliaazadirachta oil, Oryza sativa oil, Citric acid, Geraniol**
    From Certified Organic Farms
    *
    From Essential Oils

I am not an expert in guessing if the above ingredients are all chemical-free. However, one particular detail caught my attention and that’s ‘parfum’. Perfumes render smell only because they have some chemicals mixed in the original content. Please could you elaborate?
