A good hairstyle can make or break your look. And if you have frizzy hair, you are bound to spend a lot of time just to tame them. While one may brush it aside as hair’s natural texture, frizzy hair is a sign of dryness and damage. But nothing that a little tender, love, and care can’t solve!
Don’t worry, we wouldn’t recommend you salon treatments or expensive products, but rather simple DIY remedies with ingredients you can find in your kitchen to tackle that frizz.
Hair Mask #1
1. Mash 2 bananas (ripe or overripe) in a blender until they make a smooth paste, sans any lumps;
2. Mix the paste with 2 teaspoons of almond oil.
You can also use 1 teaspoon each of almond and coconut oil.
3. Apply the paste along the length of your hair.
4. Cover your hair with a towel or shower cap for 15-20 minutes.
5. Rinse it out with cold water.
Hair Mask #2
1. Put 1-part honey with 2 parts yoghurt in a bowl,
2. Mix until a paste is formed.
3. Apply the paste evenly to your hair,
4. Cover your hair with a towel or shower cap for 25-30 minutes,
5. Rinse it out with cold water.
Hair Mask #3
1. Whisk an egg in a bowl until frothy;
2. Mix 2 parts mayonnaise and 1-part honey to the above mixture;
3. Apply it to your scalp and hair and massage it;
4. Cover your hair with a towel or shower cap for 20 minutes;
5. Rinse it out thoroughly with shampoo and cold water.
Pro Tip:
You can use a wide-toothed comb to spread these masks evenly throughout the length of your hair.
